General Information

The history of SuperClubs Cuba began in 1992 with the opening of Club (later to be known as Breezes) Varadero, the first Super-Inclusive resort on the island.

The resorts managed by SuperClubs Cuba offer a variety of festivals, including International Singles Super-Fiesta, the Super-Oktoberfest, the Super-Reggae-fest, the Super-Latin-fest and the Super-Caribbean-fest. These all carry attractive price tags.

Holidaymakers who wish to get married at our resorts have the following expenses included: a Notary Public, the Marriage Certificate, a translator, the cake and champagne / sparkling wine. Photographic and/or video services, floral arrangements and music are optional. Documents should be forwarded to the resorts at least three weeks in advance. These documents must be legally certified in their countries. Cuban Consulates abroad have all the necessary information for this purpose.

Meeting facilities are available, depending on the resort's location.

Firs Aid is available 24 hours daily, with specialized services being provided at the nearby International Policlinic at an additional charge.

In addition to the Super-Inclusive package, money may be spent on optional tours, car rental services, massages, etc. For these additional services, VISA and MASTER CARD are accepted, once they are not issued by U.S. banks. The US dollar can also be used.

SuperClubs Cuba now operates three resorts in Cuba and plans to open three more, now under construction in different parts of the country. The first one is the 4-star Breezes Costa Verde, located on Pesquero Beach, in the eastern province of Holgu�n. This resort will have 480 rooms, accepting singles, couples and families. The second one is Breezes Cayo Coco, located on Cayo Coco. This 300-room, 4-star resort will accommodate couples and singles 16 years and older. Thirdly, Grand Lido Varadero, on the famous Varadero Beach, with a clientele of singles and couples 16 years and older. With a capacity of 400 rooms, this 5-star resort will be one of the finest in Cuba. These three properties will be managed for the Cuban Hotel Group, Gaviota. The projecting completion dates have been set between July 2000 and December 2001.

For these additional charges, guests can use the credit cards Visa and MasterCard.

Infirmary: It works around the clock for first aid services in all the hotels, with the exception of the Puntarena, where it receives patients Monday through Friday, from 09:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 09:00 a.m. to Noon. The international polyclinics function 24 hours a day providing specialized service with additional charge.

Electric current:

Puntarena: 110 Volts / 60 cycles; 110 Volts / 60 cycles and 220 Volts / 60 cycles in the bathrooms.
All the rooms have safe-deposit boxes.

Weddings

Weddings with local expenses included, such as a notary public, the marriage certificate, the decoration of the wedding room, a translator, the cake, and champagne or sparkling wine, with food service for the toast. Photo and/or video services, floral arrangements, and music groups are not included. The other formalities are up to our guests, who should send, at least three weeks in advance, the wedding documents legally certified in their home countries. Cuban consulates abroad have all the necessary information for this purpose.
